2018

Foundation & Planning

  • Steering Committee formed to guide long‑term temple planning.
  • Committees for Planning, Engineering, Fundraising, Construction, and Publicity established.
2019

Fundraising & Property Acquisition

  • Major fundraising events successfully raised commitments from Patrons, Trustees, and Founding Members.
  • Architectural contract signed with Artec Integrated Solutions.
  • Dec 18, 2019: Loan closed and 1212 Royal Pkwy, Euless property officially purchased.
2020

Approvals & Design

  • Zoning change approved unanimously by the City of Euless & City Council.
  • First Phase 1 floor plans shared with the community.
  • City approved Phase 1 building permit on August 25, 2020.
  • Request for Proposal (RFP) announced for general contractor selection.
2021

Construction Launch

  • Formal contract signed with General Contractor Raul Sandoval.
  • Apr 15, 2021: Building permit officially issued by the City of Euless.
  • Apr 24, 2021: Construction kickoff and puja ceremony with 250+ attendees; $68,000 raised.
2022

Phase 1 Progress & Financing

  • Revised grading plan approved by the City of Euless.
  • BOT approved bank loan up to $1 million and temporary loans from Patrons/Trustees.
  • Project manager hired and oversight committees formed/expanded.
2023

Spiritual Milestone

  • Mar 3, 2023: The Gajur (temple pinnacle) installed, symbolizing the spiritual completion of the temple's top structure.
